The thing is I can't even open those ANIM files in Red MC because they are in. So I wanna assume that is the cause of the "it has a virus" Remember you are sharing Red MC on your FB page (please credit Vlad, seriously he deserves it) and as we all know Red MC comes as a false positive to anyone downloading that so stop the fighting on that certain issue as people downloading Red MC should get that info from his thread here in NLSC "It will always show false postive" - reason because it sends info to a server upon opening. Just pasting it on the game main folder will not do anything.Ībout that virus issue I think this could be the cause.

You would first have to find a way to get your anims inside and replace old ones. I have been using gamez as well for so long that I do not see anything more changed in siganims it just looks like an uncompressed version of his work with nothing new. I thought I could just import the ,iff to replace an animation but red MC import does not work that way.Ĭhange topic real quick yes I did see some changes (Only collisions and some rebounds, also lost an animation for ankle break as I only have one or two variants showing up) and have been playing for a long time.

I have 2k16 but don't know how to extract the anims like you did. iff anyway I can open them for use in 2k14? or can you share your method on how you chunk those into NBA_anims and siganims? I see all the ANIM files from 2k15 and 2k16 are all in. You seem to know your stuff Seushir0 glad you at least noticed what was going on here instead of doubting like some others man appreciate the keen eye game won't read that as it was not existent in 2k14.

Same would go for some non Anims in the patch like ADavis_And1 etc. The game reads the animation based on the file names so just blasting those ANIM files won't change anything. The ANM_2KXX, where as XX is 09-16 is not read by the game unless it is inside nba_animations.iff and siganims_generic.iff (with that, it means you replaced an original file with the Motion cap bigger file and the Mirror Motion cap smaller file). (I can see the difference) but not the forms and releases. I tried just extracting the siganims_generic.iff and it apparently only changed the dunks, hook shots, etc. Stephen Curry: Nice, usually unblockable lay-in animations that allow you to finish among bigger defenders, but not great at finishing through contact.ĭominant Big: The best layup package for big men that gives you decent standing layup animations and allows you to play like Shaq in the paint.JEDL wrote: Devilish, are all of the files necessary? There's approximately 50,000+ files in compressed file and its taking a bit of time to extract everything (been waiting for 30 minutes now and its only covered 30%). Default Swing is also surprisingly good for all players, as the animations are really good this year. You’ll need an 88 layup to equip it, but it is well worth it.ĭefault Swing: The best for lower-rated finishers who can’t unlock the above three layup packages. Long Athlete: Allows your player to starts layups outside the key, get nice hop step animations, and finish through contact. We’ve compiled the best ones in 2K23, all based on the type of player you have. Therefore, you’re going to need the right Layup package for your player. Finishing at the rim is one of the most animation-driven features in 2K, meaning you better hope you get the right animation or you’re missing an open layup.
